We’ll be getting Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and now Skull & Bones. 2023, however, is tracking to be a big year for the publisher. With Skull & Bones now pushed back to 2023, Ubisoft will end the year with two major releases this holiday season: Just Dance 2022 and Mario + Rabids Sparks of Hope. From the setting to the actual gameplay premise, the game has undergone multiple redesigns. Inspired by the naval battles of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, the game has undergone changes in direction and scope during development. It’s been rough sailing for Ubisoft Singapore when it comes to Skull & Bones. ![]() This would allow a larger pool of gamers to go hands-on with it and provide Ubisoft with any necessary feedback. We don’t know when exactly this will be held although Ubisoft did say it will happen “in the near future.” So it sounds like there’s a chance it could come in November or December. On the bright side, Ubisoft also confirmed an Open Beta for Skull & Bones will be held prior to launch. Ubisoft provided the usual talking points when detailing the delay, saying it will allow them to “further polish and balance the experience.” The developer is currently using players’ feedback from the Technical tests and Insider Program that happened over the past two weeks.ĭelays are never fun to hear but if it’s for the good of the game and ensures we don’t get a Cyberpunk experience at launch, then I think it’s better that way. This is the fifth delay for the highly anticipated game which was previously scheduled to release this November. Ubisoft’s upcoming action-adventure has once again been delayed. Gamers will have to wait a just bit longer before they take to the high seas in Skull & Bones. ![]()
